The hotel was nicely decorated and had a charming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing good recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing.- The location was convenient, within walking distance of the river and the historic center.
The room layout was a bit odd, with the toilet and bathroom separated on different sides of the room. The parking options were limited, and it would have been more convenient to have an on-site parking garage.

The staff was thoughtful and absolutely excellent, so I would stay here again. Had a really lovely stay for a short visit. The location was particularly good and stunning, for example, Grand Theatre de Bordeaux was at a moderate distance from the hotel. Near restaurants and bars, it was a bonus.
Their staff were poorly trained.

They went above and beyond to assist us with any requests we had. The location of the hotel was also fantastic, with all the main attractions within walking distance. the hotel had a charming and rustic French style which added to the overall ambience.
The shower in our room was impractical, as it was a bath with a shower hose attached to the taps. This made it difficult and uncomfortable to use, especially for guests with mobility issues.

We stayed in the twin room, it was tastefully decorated. The beds with hypoallergenic pillows and feather pillows were big.
Although we enjoyed the stay, a few staff members were poorly trained.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel in Bordeaux. Located in a quiet neighborhood in the historic area of St Seurin, it offered a peaceful escape from the bustling city center. The room was spacious and quiet, providing a perfect haven after a day of exploring. The staff was exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. the hotel's breakfast spread was delicious and offered a great start to the day.
I was disappointed by the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

The value for money at Villa Victor Louis was excellent, especially considering the beautifully restored house and charming attic room overlooking the rooftops. The location in a non-touristy neighborhood gave us an authentic local experience, and the staff treated us with genuine hospitality.
The morning meal could have been improved with better coffee.
